What sets one centrepiece apart from another

Height decides the conversation; material decides the occasion:

• Silver plate and alpaca metal. The classical finish of a laid table, reflecting candlelight and flattering white china.
• Stainless steel. The same reading with more resistance to frequent use and washing.
• Glass and crystal. They let the cloth show and do not close the table in — better on a smaller table.
• Brass. A warm tone that works with exposed wood and a table set without a cloth.
• Low. The rule that matters: it has to sit below the eye line of anyone seated, or it becomes a wall in the middle of the conversation.
• In threes. On a long table, three pieces of different heights work better than one large piece alone.

The width of the table decides the diameter of the piece: too wide and there is no room for a serving dish, too narrow and it disappears on a large dining table. Send us the table size and we will size the piece. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you, then follow the order through to delivery.
