What sets one bucket apart from another

Height and capacity decide whether it works:

• One bottle or several. The single sits on the table; the multi-bottle lives on the cart or on the floor beside it.
• Stainless steel. It holds the temperature better and takes frequent use without marking.
• Silver plating. The classical reading of a formal table, with the reflection that flatters the scene.
• With handles. Full of ice and water, the piece is heavy — the handles are what let you carry it to the table.
• With a stand. It stands beside the table and frees the surface, for a dinner with many places.
