  • Format. Landscape formats sit over a sofa or bed; portrait formats fit between windows and doors.
  • Wall size. Above a sofa or sideboard, a piece looks right at about two thirds of the furniture's width.
  • Height. Hang the center near eye level; in a group, align by the bottom edge or the center line.
