Decorative Vase St. James Botanique in Brass with Silver Plating, 32 cm

The St. James Botanique decorative vase brings together the substance of brass with a silver-plated finish in a piece defined by continuous lines and an organic contour. Its uniform sheen emphasizes the polished surface, while the tall, upright profile suits compositions on sideboards, end tables, buffets and consoles. At 32 cm high, it reads as a vertical accent that adds presence without visual weight. The soft, flowing outline reinforces an organic feel and helps the piece integrate into a range of interior styles. Intended for indoor settings, it is designed for decorative use.

Material and look

Crafted from brass and finished with silver plating, the vase presents a clear, light metallic tone with a smooth, mirror-like polish. The even surface picks up changing reflections throughout the day, helping the piece stand out even in discreet arrangements. Because the finish is uniform, small shifts in perspective subtly change how the edges and curves read, creating depth without excess detail. The luminous look keeps the composition clean and airy.

Form of the piece

The sinuous outline departs from a rigid cylindrical shape and brings movement to the form. Gentle undulations at the rim soften the geometry and echo natural lines, while the continuous sides maintain a calm, uninterrupted profile. The base, raised on small supports, reinforces the piece’s verticality and creates a stable stance with a light gap to the surface. The result is a vase that feels fluid rather than blocky, making an assertive focal point in entryways, living and dining rooms, or offices.

Where to use

This is a piece intended for decorative composition in interiors. It performs well on its own—highlighting tabletops, consoles and shelving niches—or grouped with other objects to build contrast between volumes, materials and heights. The tall format helps anchor arrangements without occupying a large footprint, and its polished surface contributes a bright, reflective counterpoint to matte textures.

Within the family of vases and cachepots, treat this as a decorative vase. There is no confirmation of waterproofing or of a drainage hole, so its primary use should remain decorative.
