The Xia III cachepot is made of hand-painted porcelain with terracotta arabesques and flowers. It is a cachepot: the plant stays in its own pot, placed inside, while the porcelain remains on display.
With 62 cm in diameter and 42 cm in height, it is a floor piece for halls, large living rooms and covered verandas. The size accommodates palms and ficus in medium to large pots.
The same painting is available in the store in sizes II, III and IV, allowing you to group different heights in a hall or a covered veranda.
The Xia line covers the porcelain with terracotta arabesques and flowers, drawn in fine spirals over white. Up close, open flowers appear among the foliage; from a distance, the piece reads as a continuous terracotta surface.
Near the rim runs a Greek key band, the right-angled motif repeated around the piece, and the base ends in a frieze of petals. Fine blue lines separate these bands from the body, and the wide, outward-turned rim repeats the terracotta tone.
Because it is hand-painted, the linework and placement of the motifs vary slightly from piece to piece.
Before choosing, measure your plant’s pot: it must be narrower than the opening of the cachepot, with clearance to insert and remove it without scraping the painted rim.
At 28 kg empty, place the cachepot in its final position before adding the plant. To move it, use two people, holding by the base—not by the rim.
Clean with a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp, and avoid abrasive cleaners and rough sponges that can scratch the painting. Porcelain is hard, but it does not resist impact: protect the piece from bumps when moving furniture nearby.
Use a saucer under the plant pot so watering does not pool at the bottom of the cachepot. On wooden floors, a felt pad under the base protects the surface.
The recommended use is as a cachepot: the plant stays in its own pot, with a saucer, and the set goes inside the porcelain. This makes plant swaps simple and keeps water away from the piece.
The cachepot has an external diameter of 62 cm and is 42 cm high. Choose a pot narrower than the opening and up to the rim in height, leaving clearance to fit.
It is intended for indoor areas and covered verandas.
The painting is done by hand, so the motif shows small variations from piece to piece. The pattern, colors and measurements are the same.
