Decanters & Carafes

What sets one piece apart from another

The body decides the function:

• Wide-based decanter. A large surface in contact with the air — the shape that opens a closed red.
• Narrow-bodied carafe. It aerates little and serves better for water, juice and drinks that do not need to breathe.
• Crystal. Thin walls and brilliance that flatter the colour of the wine against the light.
• Coloured glass. The piece becomes a table object even when empty, and disguises the changing level.
• Wide mouth. It makes filling and, above all, cleaning easier — the tedious part of owning a decanter.
• With a stopper. It holds the aroma when the drink stays in the piece for longer.

Need help choosing?

A narrow-mouthed decanter is beautiful and hard to dry inside — worth weighing if you plan to use it often. Ask us about capacity and cleaning before you order. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you, then follow the order through to delivery.
