Picture Frames

What sets one frame apart from another

Finish and proportion decide the piece:

• Stainless steel with silver plating. A cool reflection and a clean border that makes a black-and-white photograph more graphic.
• Gold plating. It warms the image and speaks to wood, straw and classical furniture.
• With velvet. A velvet back and support protect the furniture and give the piece weight in the hand.
• Portrait or landscape. Decide by the photograph, not the frame: portraits ask for vertical, group shots for horizontal.
• In groups. Two or three frames in one finish at different heights form a composition; mixed finishes become clutter.
• Photo size. This is the measurement that matters when ordering — the frame is always larger than the image it takes.

Need help choosing?

Before the finish, confirm the size of the photograph you will use — it is the most common mistake and the only one that cannot be fixed afterwards. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you, then follow the order through to delivery.
