What sets one piece apart from another

The contents decide the shape and the lid:

  • Garlic keeper. Holes that let air circulate — what stops garlic sprouting and going mouldy in a closed jar.
  • Spice jar. A wide mouth for a spoon to enter, in sizes that follow how much you use.
  • With a sealing lid. For what has to stay dry and free of outside smells: coffee, flour, seasoning.
  • Enamelled stoneware. It does not absorb odour or stain, and it protects the contents from light.
  • Utensil crock. It keeps tools to hand beside the hob and clears the drawer.
  • Size. Choose by real consumption: a large jar with little inside spoils the contents faster.
