What sets one candlestick apart from another

The number of arms decides the effect; the material decides the table it belongs on:

Single candlestick. One candle, one piece. It works in groups of different heights, which is the easiest arrangement to get right.
Multi-arm candelabra. It concentrates several flames in one point and settles the centre of the table on its own.
Crystal. The flame passes through the body of the piece and multiplies — this is where candlelight goes furthest.
Silver, brass and metal. They reflect the flame rather than passing it through, and set the classical tone of a laid table.
Porcelain. An opaque body and colour of its own, for anyone who wants the piece visible in daylight too, unlit.
Candle type. Taper candles ask for a narrow fitting; pillar candles and tealights ask for a wide base. That is what decides whether the piece will serve.

Two measurements avoid regret: the candle fitting, which has to match the candles you use, and the height, which must not cross the line of sight of anyone seated. Tell us your candles and we will confirm the fitting. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you, then follow the order through to delivery.
