Champagne Flutes

The glass exists so the bubble lasts

Sparkling wine served in the wrong glass loses its gas in minutes: the tall, narrow body is what makes the bubble rise in a thread, and the closed rim is what keeps the aroma inside. These are ours in crystal and glass, plain, fluted and coloured.

What sets one flute apart from another

The shape does the technical work; material and colour do the rest:

  • Flute. Tall and narrow, the shape that preserves the perlage longest — the choice for a toast and for young sparkling wine.
  • Tulip. A little wider in the bowl and closed at the rim: it holds the bubble and still gives the aroma room to open.
  • Crystal. Thin walls and an almost invisible rim, with brilliance that flatters a pale drink.
  • Glass. It takes daily use and replacement — and it is where the colour and the fluting live.
  • Fluted. The relief follows the rise of the bubble and hides fingerprints on the stem.
  • Coloured foot. A clear body with a coloured foot: the drink shows clean and the piece still composes the table.

Need help choosing?

A champagne flute is the least used glass and the one most missed when the house fills — worth buying for the full table rather than the ordinary day. Message us on WhatsApp and we will check it with you, then follow the order through to delivery.
