Design and Composition❯

Visual read of the piece

A dark-toned square frame outlines a field of evenly spaced vertical slats. Their rhythm guides the eye toward the center, where the volume thickens and the spacing tightens to form a compact geometric nucleus. As light crosses the surface, the alternation between raised and recessed elements creates soft shadows and highlights, reinforcing depth.

Because the composition relies on structure rather than color, it reads graphic and contemporary, without visual noise. The 6 cm depth amplifies the three-dimensional effect, giving the work the presence of a shallow wall sculpture and helping it stand out even on broader, open walls.

Where to Use❯

Placement and scale

The 69 x 69 cm square format adapts well to medium walls and focused compositions. Use it alone to anchor a section of wall or pair it with low furniture to create a tidy vertical axis and a contained focal point.

In halls, offices and living rooms, the contrast between the dark background, the central relief and the linear structure builds a clear, graphic read. Over sideboards, consoles and end tables, the piece integrates easily with lamps and objects without competing for color.

Care❯

Conservation

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products and direct moisture. Continuous exposure to strong sunlight should also be avoided to preserve the look of the work and its finishes.
