Decorative Box Allen in Alpaca Metal with Openwork Sides, 18 cm

The Allen decorative box in alpaca metal combines a low cylindrical profile, openwork sides and a compact footprint that fits easily on consoles, shelves, side tables and decorative trays. At 18 cm wide by 18 cm deep and 8 cm high, it corrals small items and also serves as a clean finishing touch in a vignette.

The silver-tone metallic finish pairs well with wood, glass, stone or lacquer, creating contrast without visual weight. The geometric grid makes the piece read lighter and lets background colors show through. Its low height slides neatly into niches and bookcases without blocking sightlines, keeping the composition airy.

The round shape softens straight lines and edges around it. Use it as a shallow container within a larger arrangement or leave it empty when the goal is to add texture and a subtle metallic accent.

Composition

Made of alpaca metal.

This decorative box works well when metal is used as a point of contrast. On consoles, place it beside books, vases and candleholders. On side tables, it helps group small items for a tidier read. On shelves and in niches, the openwork breaks up solid planes and adds texture to the set.

The compact format also suits smaller rooms without weighing down the arrangement. Used alone, it delivers a discreet accent. Combined with other metallic pieces or objects in natural materials, it creates a balanced composition that is easy to refresh over time.
