Decorative Basket Geltru, Handcrafted in Brown Bamboo, 65 cm

The Geltru handcrafted decorative basket in bamboo brings function and natural texture together in a piece with presence. Its rounded profile, broad rim and wide central handle create volume and draw the eye, whether displayed on its own or layered with other accents. At 65 cm wide, 41 cm high and just 0.5 kg, it sits comfortably on consoles, bookcases, entry tables and side tables without overwhelming the scene.

The warm brown tone and handwoven body introduce a welcoming note to arrangements with wood, ceramic, books and trays. The weave catches light and casts soft shadows, while the arched handle adds a vertical line that helps structure a vignette. Use it to anchor a shelf, frame a stack of coffee-table books or accompany a sculptural object, reinforcing the mix of textures without visual weight.

Made from natural bamboo, the basket reads airy despite its generous width. The shallow depth keeps the silhouette light on broader surfaces, making it an easy way to add organic materiality where you want interest but prefer a clean, open look. Conceived as a decorative accent, it works as a visual base for books, trays and small dry objects, defining negative space and giving rhythm to larger tops.
